USA Surfing Stoked On Sun Bum Partnership
Proud of its longstanding partnership, skin-protecting and reef-friendly sunscreen Sun Bum will continue its support of USA Surfing and its athletes. USA Surfing and Sun Bum are stoked about the partnership, which provides earth-friendly sun protection and support for the nation’s elite junior surf athletes.
Since 2010, Sun Bum has brought an authentic, fun vibe to the beach community with products that protect families from the sun. More than just a sunscreen company, Sun Bum promotes surfing with stoke and protecting what we love. “These are values USA Surfing shares and are grateful to pass on,” USA Surfing CEO Greg Cruse said.
The partnership is being announced prior to USA Surfing Championships – the junior surf season’s pinnacle contest at Lowers that determines which surfers are selected to be USA Surf team members and compete internationally. USA Surfing’s goal is to develop Junior Champions who will go on to experience future Olympic success representing their country.
“USA Surfing does an amazing job progressing the sport of surfing in the USA and Sun Bum is stoked to be able to continue our support of USA Surfing and youth surfing in general,” Sun Bum CEO Adam Francis said.
“In addition to keeping surfers sun safe, Sun Bum helps fund programs that are core to developing the sport of surfing and the fun, friendships and personal growth that make surfing so awesome,” Cruse said.
USA Surfing Championship athletes can look forward to a host of Sun Bum fun in between their heats: frisbee, football, corn hole, ping pong and more.
