Action Sports, 2020 Olympics, SD’s Big Impact, and a Trip to Tokyo
CA Training Facility (CA|TF) is making a monumental impact on the trajectory of Skateboarding and skateboarders as we know them…the only training facility of its kind dedicated to future Olympic hopefuls and transforming passionate skateboarders into athletes with big dreams. This indoor and outdoor skateboarding training facility – with both park and street courses that mimic the courses Olympians will actually skate in Tokyo – was built ground up in only 3 months and now houses Olympic hopefuls from around the world. You have to see this to believe it!
Action sports is making its way into the 2020 Olympics in a big way with the debut of surf, skate, climbing and BMX. Local San Diego organizations have and continue to play a pivotal role in making this aspiration a reality. Join local leaders for a fascinating panel discussion on what this Olympic debut means for their sports, their athletes and what to expect in Tokyo in 2020.

Fernando Aguerre, ISA’s President and the driving force behind Surfing in the Tokyo Olympics, has promised us the “biggest beach party ever!” Seems like it’s too good of an invitation to pass up … so our idea is to bring a community to Tokyo to have an insider look at the debut of our most aspirational sports. At his event we will be unveiling a limited seating, group trip to the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo with FunLy Events.
And if this meeting wasn’t already jam packed with radness… USA Skateboarding, the National Governing Body for Skateboarding, will announce their USA Skate Team. Come meet these 16 Olympic hopefuls!
This event is free but registration is required to attend. This event will fill up quick so don’t wait to register.
