Surfrider Partners with Yachak Organic
The Surfrider Foundation, a nonprofit grassroots organization dedicated to the protection of the ocean and coasts, and Yachak Organic, a new natural yerba mate brand, today announced the launch of a collaboration to support the protection of clean water and healthy beaches.
“We’re excited to work together with the Surfrider Foundation to contribute to the protection of our ocean and coasts,” said Tom Fraccalvieri, Marketing Brand Manager for Yachak Organic. “We are committed not only to offering products that are Fair Trade and Non-GMO certified, but are also focusing on contributing to the protection of endangered wildlife as well as the environment. By supporting Surfrider’s work to reduce plastic pollution through beach cleanups and educational awareness, we’re proud to help affect change and protect the coasts for the future.”
The collaboration follows the success of the recently introduced Yachak Organic Yerba Mate, available in four flavors in 14 states across the Western U.S. Yerba Mate has been used for centuries as a traditional and natural beverage. Yachak Organic Yerba Mate is gluten-free and certified as USDA Organic, Non-GMO through the “Non GMO Project,” Kosher through the Orthodox Union and Fair Trade through “Fair for Life.”
“We are pleased to join forces in partnership with Yachak Organic to protect clean water and healthy beaches,” said Dr. Chad Nelsen, CEO of the Surfrider Foundation. “Yachak Organic is helping to lead the way by taking action and supporting the mission of protecting our ocean, waves and beaches for this and future generations.”
