Surf Summit 19 got underway Wednesday with an updated format at a new – and nicer – hotel.
The Marquis Los Cabos got rave reviews from arrivals on Wednesday.
More retailers are attending the conference than ever before, with over 30 stores represented in Mexico.
At the opening night dinner, new SIMA President Kelly Gibson led the toast to the late Dick Baker, and Surf Summit Committee Chairman Kevin Meehan steered a panel discussion about the state of the industry with Roark’s Ryan Hitzel, John Wilson of Stance and Pat Tenore of RVCA.
We had a conflict and couldn’t attend the conference this year, but SIMA shared some photos with us.
