Famous Stars & Straps President Bill Gage is returning to the La Jolla Group to  lead the Metal Mulisha brand as Global General Manager.

Bill is well liked at La Jolla Group and in the industry. He left the company in 2013 under the previous regime and before current CEO Daniel Neukomm assumed that role.

Daniel told me that he’s kept in touch with Bill over the years, and the team feels like it’s a big win to get him back.

“Everybody here at the senior level who worked with him before is ecstatic,” Daniel said.

He described Bill as a charismatic inspiring leader with strong retailer relationships.

“It feels natural and right for him to be on the team again,” Daniel said. “We share a common belief that Metal Mulisha is an iconic brand that will have continued success in 2015 and beyond.”

The Metal Mulisha GM role has been vacant since he left. Daniel said the company looked for someone to replace him, but never found the right fit.

Bill starts his new/old job Monday.

“Coming back to La Jolla Group and joining the incredible executive team they have assembled there is an opportunity I’m really looking forward to,” Bill said.
