New job for Steve Wilson at La Jolla Group

Steve Wilson, President of O’Neill Clothing, is migrating into a new position at the La Jolla Group.
Steve will move onto the board of directors and oversee new brand activities for the company. He joined O’Neill nearly a year ago and has previously held key roles at Quiksilver and Billabong over the years.
La Jolla Group CEO Daniel Neukomm announced the change at a meeting with employees today.
SES talked with Neukomm, who has been in the CEO role for almost a year, about the leadership change, about the company’s 2013 performance, and about future La Jolla Group plans and strategies, including its hunt for new brands.
It is Neukomm’s first extended interview in his CEO role and he has some interesting things to say about La Jolla’s new operating philosophy, its business priorities and the industry as a whole.
