Target athletes profiled on Network A

Press release:

We all have dreams of the limelight, but at what point do dreams become realities? When does one transition from amateur to professional to superstar? To answer that question, Target presents, “The Way Up,” a new series, running on Network A, profiling six Target athletes including Ryan Dungey, Kolohe Andino, Carissa Moore, Paul Rodriguez, Rosalind Groenewoud and Torin Yater-Wallace. Each episode of the series will focus on one athlete, showcasing their rise to stardom while pinpointing their exact breakthrough moments as professionals. With more than a decade of involvement in action sports, Target continues to help athletes grow in order to achieve greatness. Viewers will follow motocross champion Dungey through his defining laps on the moto track, witness the pre-dawn beach sessions that result in ASP World Tour podiums, hit skate spots and contests with Rodriguez and see what it takes from athletes on their way to Olympic gold medals.

The first episode, featuring Ryan Dungey, will premiere April 30, 2013 on Network A (www.NetworkA.com), with a new episode debuting every other Tuesday. “The Way Up” was shot and directed by skateboard icon and filmmaker Steve Berra, who previously worked with P-Rod for the Network A series “Life.” Berra is also widely recognized as co-founder of the premium skateboard website, The Berrics.
