  Surf Ride and Hansen's to host

SAN DIEGO, August 31, 2010- Surf Ride and Hansen’s will be hosting the First Annual Surf Ride vs. Hansen’s for Boobies Golf Tournament benefiting The Keep A Breast Foundation, to be played at El Camino Country Club in Oceanside, CA on Monday, October 4, 2010.

This charity golf tournament is being held to benefit the Keep A Breast Foundation. The Keep A Breast Foundation™ is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. Their mission is to help eradicate breast cancer by exposing young people to methods of prevention, early detection and support. Through art events, educational programs and fundraising efforts, they seek to increase breast cancer awareness among young people so they are better equipped to make choices and develop habits that will benefit their long-term health and well-being.

The El Camino Country Club private course is a 6,840-yard, par 72 Billy Bell-designed course test golfers of all skill levels. The traditional layout stretches across 115 acres of lush ranch land with towering Eucalyptus and Monterey pines. Well-placed bunkers, water hazards and ocean breezes add to the excitement of this challenging course.

Surf Ride and Hansen’s are rallying the troops in the Action Sports industry and local community in order to raise money through a unique and exciting Golf Tournament. As top surf shops in the area, they are geared up to bring top surf and skate companies and the local community together in order to make an impacting donation to aid in the fight against breast cancer.

The Surf Ride vs. Hansen’s for Boobies Golf Tournament is the perfect opportunity to support a non-profit and have fun while doing it. To add to the excitement, the shop whose teams have the lowest average will have the opportunity to display a Boobies trophy in their shop claiming their victory.

Some of the highlighted activities during the Golf Tournament include: Surf Ride vs. Hansen’s tournament, celebrity golf team, putting contest, chipping contest, lunch provided by Bull Taco, a “Ball Wash” Station at each hole, live performance by a local band, and much more.
