Longtime Quiksilver employee Michelle LeBlanc has moved to Volcom to become the juniors national sales manager for the specialty market.

Previously, Michelle was the national sales manager for Roxy swim and Roxy’s liason to core retailers. Someone once described her to me as the Roxy version of Tom Holbrook.

Volcom’s Executive Vice President of Sales Tom Ruiz told me a few more details about Volcom’s hiring of Michelle.

“She is a great fit for our team and comes with solid experience,” Tom said. “She has very good relationships with our core retailer base and has a strong background in the juniors apparel and swim business.

“We had been searching for over a year to find the right person for this position. Michelle was one of the few that made our radar. We are super stoked to have Michelle on board at Volcom.”
