This just in: Liquid Nation party photos

I couldn't make it to the Liquid Nation party at Fernando and Vicky Aguerre's ocean front house in La Jolla Saturday night, but luckily Una Baker volunteered to take photos for me. Fernando founded sandal company Reef along with his brother Santiago.

The party raised $250,000 for 13 surf-related social and humanitarian non-profit organizations. Company executives, surf stars and other industry folks attended the fourth annual fundraiser.

I saw Una's husband, Dick, at ASR. He's formed a capital group and is on the hunt for new brands. Dick is the president of the Surf Industry Manufacturers Association and the former president of Ocean Pacific. Here's a link to a story I wrote in the Orange County Register about the Baker house. Una, a surfer and gourmet cook, designed the interior herself.
