KR3W says it is not impacted by Rays news

KR3W clothing

I checked in yesterday with Scott VanDerripe, a partner in One Distribution, maker of KR3W clothing and Supra shoes, as the rumors swirled about the closure of Rays Apparel. I wasn't sure if the companies were related.

Here's what Scott had to say:

"(The Rays Apparel closure) has no effect on One Distribution. Business at One Distribution is completely separate. ...One Distribution is not partnered with Rays, however we do share some manufacturing sources.

"On a good note, business with KR3W and Supra at One Distribution is doing great. We will finish 2008 above plan and our Q1 bookings for 2009 are 55% above our bookings from Q1 of 2008."
