Zumiez same store sales rise 4.1 percent

Zumiez reported a 4.1 percent increase in April same-store sales this afternoon.
Total sales rose 20 percent to $24.2 million.
Footwear and skate hard goods were the strongest performers, while juniors lagged.
The company said the early Easter positively impacted April results. Same-store sales for the nine week period ended May 3 were flat.
For the first quarter, same-store sales declined 0.8 percent.
