Press Release:

Quiksilver announced today that long-time marketing executive Randy Hild will be transitioning to a consulting part-time role with the company as he moves to form his own creative agency.

Hild, who most recently served as Executive Vice President of Strategic Partnerships for Quiksilver Americas and is best known for his many years as head of marketing for Roxy, kicked off his new venture on January 1st.

“Everyone knows what a great job Randy did with the Roxy brand and it will be exciting to watch him take his talent and experience to new creative projects here with Quiksilver,” said Bob McKnight, CEO of Quiksilver, Inc. Although Hild’s responsibilities will change, he will still be very closely associated with Quiksilver. McKnight confirmed that Hild has signed a long-term agreement with the company to consult on strategic partnerships and other marketing-related projects.

“While I’m excited about the opportunity to venture out to new creative arenas, I’m equally stoked to have an ongoing relationship with Quiksilver and their incredibly powerful action sports brands,” said Hild.
