The Buckle continues winning streak

The Buckle is still going strong while others are struggling in the tough economy.
The retailer reported a 19.1 percent increase in same store sales in January. That compares to a 7.8 percent increase in January of 2007.
January same-store sales
Mens: up 35 percent
Best categories: Denim, woven and knit tops, accessories.
Women's: up 20 percent
Best categories: Denim and knit tops
Accessories: up 10 percent
Footwear: down 8.5 percent
Fourth quarter same-store sales: up 18.7 percent
Fiscal 2007 same-store sales: up 13.2 percent
