For those of you that sell to The Buckle, take heart. The retailer said Thursday morning that it turned in a strong third quarter.

The Buckle is one of the rare retail companies that performed well during the recession and continues to do so post slow down.

Total sales rose 12.4% to $273.4 million.

Same store sales rose 9.1%.

Online sales rose 25.4% to $18.9 million.

Net income rose 11% to $38.3 million.

The Buckle operated 429 stores in 43 states at the end of the third quarter.
