The La Jolla Group has put True Love & False Idols on hiatus, a company spokeswoman confirmed this morning.

La Jolla has the license to make apparel for the brand.

As a result, well-known industry figure Jim Shubin is no longer with La Jolla.

Jim previously worked as the VP of Sales & Marketing for True Love & False Idols.

Jim told me he really enjoyed his time at La Jolla.

"TLFI itself is in the best position it has ever been in and will hopefully go on down the line," he said. "La Jolla and I have parted ways amicably. High fives all around and I'll still be surfing and hanging with a lot of the people over there. Now, I’m looking for another position elsewhere."
