Press Release:

The California Fashion Association (CFA) produced their fourth annual 'Economic Crystal Ball' at the City Club in downtown Los Angeles. The event attracted over 150 industry executives, and was hosted by Wells Fargo Capital Finance, with additional sponsorship from Avery Dennison.

Dr. Eugenio Aleman, Senior Economist for Wells Capital Management presented an impressive series of slides detailing the current financial 'mess', and offered significant projections and a thesis for the future.

As the featured guest speaker Marshal Cohen of the NPD Group gave an outstanding presentation entitled, "Retailing Now and Going Forward", with an overview of the affects of current economics on retail business decisions from the consumer's point of view.

The meeting's overall topic was, "Looking Toward the Future - Where this Economic Roller Coaster is Going", with the expert panel accepting questions from the audience. The panel was moderated by Kevin Sullivan, Executive Vice President of Capital Finance; and included Stuart Brister, CEO and President of Wells Fargo Capital Finance; Shawn Neville, Group Vice President of Retail Branding & Information Solutions for Avery Dennison; Marshal Cohen of the NPD Group, and Dr. Eugenio Aleman of Wells Capital Management.

Please check out the slide show above for some photos from the event.
