I caught up on the Iconix Brand Group, Inc.'s second quarter conference call, which had some interesting detail about Op's launch in Wal-Mart.

Op suitThe brand has done so well at Wal-Mart, it it being rolled out to more stores domestically next year. Currently, Op is in 1,000 doors.

Iconix is still waiting to hear how many doors the full collection will go to, but it does know that Op swimwear and flipflops will go in all doors.

Internationally, Op launched successfully in Canada this year and will go to all Wal-Mart doors there in the spring. Op is also launching in Mexico in 2009.

Next on the horizon is expanding Op in Walmart's in Brazil, China, India, the UK and Japan, Iconix executives said.

Op shirtIconix said Op revenues will increase 50 percent in 2009.
