Analog: New West Coast warehouse coming

Kevin Meehan, the new general manager at Analog.
By TIFFANY MONTGOMERY

I stopped in to meet Kevin Meehan, formerly of Hurley International, who became general manager of Analog 2 1/2 months ago.

He said Analog's strategy the next few years is to grow where the brand already is: in core retailers. Analog makes streetwear, surf inspired clothing and technical snow outerwear, all with a stylized twist.

"We have an eclectic mix," Kevin said. "The idea is you can mix and match and create your own fashion."

Analog and the rest of the Burton crew in Irvine are also glad Burton is opening a new West Coast warehouse in Santa Ana, Kevin said. Instead of shipping to customers from Vermont, Analog and other West Coast brands will ship directly from Santa Ana beginning in June.

"It's a big deal," Kevin said. "It makes us more reliable."
