The Iconix Brand Group said this morning it has entered into an agreement to buy the rest of the Zoo York brand.

Currently, Iconix owns 51%. It will buy the remaining interest for $18 million, the company said in a press release.

Since Iconix took control of Zoo York in late 2009, it has partnered with sourcing company Li & Fung on Zoo York’s sportswear business and “substantially expanded” Zoo York’s presence in stores such as JC Penney and Kohl’s, Iconix said.
