Dan Levine leaves RVCA for Skull Candy

By TIFFANY MONTGOMERY
September 15, 2008 04:44 AM

Dan Levine resigned his position at RVCA after serving just shy of a year as the company’s president, RVCA announced today.

Dan will be moving to Park City, Utah, to join Skull Candy, best known for its headphones.

I am trying to reach Dan and will update this story as soon as possible. I have also left a message with Skull Candy.

Dan joined RVCA from Hurley, where he worked in Hurley Accessories, Hurley Kids, and Hurley Swimwear. Before that, Dan led REI's private label division and worked at Gap Inc.

RVCA said founder and CEO PM Tenore will resume the role of president. Dan will continue to be an advisor to the RVCA board of directors.

“We wish Dan the very best with his new role” RVCA’s Founder and Creative Director, PM Tenore said in statement.
