Press Release:

THE HUNDREDS JOINS FORCES WITH KATIN TO UNVEIL A COLLABORATIVE CAPSULE COLLECTION THIS SUMMER 2011

Los Angeles, CA – June 24, 2011 – The Hundreds recently partnered with iconic surf brand, Katin, to create a unique line of hats, boardshorts and tees, which will make its retail debut next Thursday, June 30, 2011, at all The Hundreds stores as well as select retailers.

The Hundreds x Katin is a collaboration centered around a surprising, yet ideal balance of raw, edgy streetwear inspired looks that are signature to The Hundreds and the nostalgic, vintage-y vibe of Katin’s durable and high-quality collection.

"We’re stoked for this collection to drop and to see people’s reactions – this line will appeal to a wide range of people, not only will our consistent fans love the pieces, but it will also appeal to an older and more sophisticated demographic as each style is heavily influenced by Katin’s classic and timeless pieces, which have remained a staple in every surfer’s wardrobe since the 1960’s," says Bobby Hundreds, co-founder and creative director of The Hundreds.

“This partnership is very exciting because it marries two brands with very different looks, but both embody a similar culture and the same Southern California lifestyle.”

The collection features three t-shirts, two pairs of boardshorts and a hat, all of which were made locally in Los Angeles and retail between $32.00 and $79.00. For images of the signature pieces, visit www.thehundreds.com.
