Marty Samuels takes new CEO role

Marty Samuels, the former President of Quiksilver Americas, is now the CEO of Hybrid Apparel in Cypress, Calif.

 

Marty started his new job March 7.

 

Hybrid Apparel is a privately owned company with a large printables business and is also a licensing company.

 

Currently it holds the licenses for Levi’s shirts in the U.S. and Reebok Kids apparel.

 

Hybrid has a wide range of retail customers including Tilly’s, Zumiez’s, Macy’s, Target, Hot Topic and Wal-Mart.

 

Marty resigned his position with Quiksilver in January 2009 after 12 years with the company.
