Pepe Landa is the new Global Footwear Chairman for Rip Curl.

Previously, Pepe was Global Sales Director at skate shoe brand Ipath. He left the brand last month after Timberland sold it to Klone Lab, a licensee for New Balance sandals based in Massachusetts.

For his new job, Pepe will be moving to France and be based out of Rip Curl’s European headquarters in Hossegor. However, he will be doing multi-month stints in all major Rip Curl global regions annually, Rip Curl’s Dylan Slater told me.

Global Footwear Chairman is not a new position at Rip Curl, and Jean Grandy, who was previously in the job, is still with the company, Dylan said.
