Surf Expo photos, highlights

Volcom President Jason Steris and Tom Ruiz, EVP of Sales, get into Volcom's rave theme at Surf Expo.

The three-day Surf Expo show in Orlando, Florida wrapped up Sunday, the last major trade show of the season.

The show featured a large wakeboard area, SUP demonstrations, and lots of events and parties.

Most of the booths I visited were pretty busy inside, and I saw nearly every important East Coast retailer there.

There seemed to be a lot of energy around the wakeboard section of the show, which included some boat companies in addition to makers of wakeboard equipment and softgoods.

I had lots of interesting interviews and conversations at the show, and visited a lot of stores.

I'll be rolling out those stories over the coming week.

In the meantime, here are photos from the floor.
