Photos from opening night of Skateboarding Summit

Dwindle Distribution President Bod Boyle with his childhood hero, George Powell.

Here are some photos from the first night of the IASC Skateboarding Summit.

George Powell gave an inspiring keynote that celebrated some of the past glory days of the industry and a fervent message about the importance of the industry working together to prevent outside interests from steering skateboarding in the wrong direction.

I'll write more about his speech as soon as I can. Got to run off to breakfast now and a day full of panel discussions.
