Here are some photos from Hurley's Phantom event at Surfside Sports last Saturday.
To get the word out about its Flywire $200 boardshorts, the event allowed anyone who brought an old pair of boardshorts to get the Flywire for half off.
Regular P-60 Phantoms could also be customized in the Hurley trailer.
And one lucky person who attended won a free trip to Indonesia.
According to Surfside co-owner Duke Edukas, a big crowd turned out, and the event went beyond his expectations.
Hurley held a similar event at ZJ Boarding House in Santa Monica and more are planned.
