PacSun has hired a former T-Mobile and Gap executive as the senior vice president of retail, the company said this morning.

Paula Lentini will be responsible for store operations, real estate, construction and loss prevention.

"Paula is a proven field leader with a great track record having most recently transformed 2,000 T-Mobile stores into regaining their number one ranking in JD Power's Retail Sales Satisfaction," said Gary H. Schoenfeld, President and Chief Executive Officer, in a press release. "With more than 20 years of apparel retail experience, she has a unique blend of customer engagement, merchandising, and organizational development strengths that will be a great addition to our team at PacSun."

Lentini has also worked for Victoria Secret, Ann Taylor and Macy's.

Schoenfeld has shaken up the management team since he arrived last year. He "let go" four senior vice presidents and eliminated four other vice president positions.

New hires include Robert Cameron, senior vice president of marketing; Christine Lee, Junior's senior vice president/general merchandise manager; and Craig Gosselin, general counsel.

PacSun operates 894 stores in 50 states and Puerto Rico and is the action sports industry largest retail customer.
