Zumiez same store sales improve in West

Zumiez reported an 8.5% decline in November same store sales this afternoon.
Last November, same store sales declined 15%.
Same store sale by week were:
Week 1: down 10.3%
Week 2: down 14.4%
Week 3: down 9.2%
Week 4: down 3.4%
Sales in the Western region continue to improve. The company said same store sales in the Western half of the country declined in the mid-single digits. Comp store sales in the South and Northeast declined in the low teens and fell in the 20% range in the Midwest.
Accessories was the only category that posted a positive comp.
Year-to-date, same store sales have fallen 13.1%
Zumiez ended the month with 378 stores.
