Updated July 30 with comments from Mark and confirmation from Quiksilver.

Mark Miller, senior vice president and general manager, Americas, has left DC Shoes.

Mark's departure comes after DC President Nick Adcock's departure in June.

I talked to Mark on the phone Wednesday and he told me he's looking forward to spending some time with his family and exploring new opportunities.

He also said that working at DC for the past three years was the highlight of his working life.

"I am thankful for the opportunity that was provided to me by DC and Quiksilver, it has been a fantastic experience for me. During my time at DC we built an excellent team that is completely capable of succeeding me and continuing on what what we started together. The Americas team is the best in the industry, and I am thankful to have had the opportunity to work with them during my time at DC."

Quiksilver confirmed Mark's departure but declined to comment further on the matter.
