RYAN SHECKLER’S 6TH ANNUAL CELEBRITY GOLF TOURNAMENT EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS RAISING OVER $200,000
Celebrities Raise Funds for the Sheckler Foundation’s Next “Be the Change” Initiative
 

July 29, 2013 (Rancho Palos Verdes, CA) – Today many of the top action sports athletes were joined by celebrities at Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes and raised over $200,000 for the Sheckler Foundation as a part of the foundation’s “Be the Change” project.  Danny Masterson, Wilmer Valderrama, Chris McDonald, Randy Wayne, James Driscoll and Stephen Bishop teamed up with action sports stars Kelly Slater, Travis Pastrana, Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg, Sean Malto, Ryan DeCenzo, Alex Midler and many more joined Ryan Sheckler on the links to golf for the cause.

After spending the day out golfing, celebrities, professional athletes and TV personalities gathered together to watch Dan Morilak win $5,000 from the Helicopter Ball Drop sponsored by Fred Water.
 
As soon as the sun went down, the golfers gathered in the clubhouse where the generous donations flowed with a live auction, personal donations, silent auction items and sponsor donations.  These donations go towards funding the Sheckler Foundation’s next “Be the Change” project to help children and injured action sports athletes.
Kelley James entertained the tournament attendees with an amazing set, and he was joined by 11-time World Champion Surfer Kelly Slater to write and play a song for the finale.  It is safe to say nobody in the crowd had ever seen that before!
