Press Release:
Futures Fins Enters Distribution Partnership with Watermans Applied Science
2/16/12 - Orange County, CA: –Watermans Applied Science, the most effective and functional sunscreen on the market, is proud to announce a strategic partnership with Huntington Beach based Futures Fins LLC. The collaboration focuses on the philosophical synergy between Futures and Watermans to provide the customer with more direct access to quality products from both companies.
Both companies believe the cornerstone of a good brand is a quality product. “When I first met Vince [Longo] it was obvious that he has a real passion for great product,” said Watermans’ Macon Brock. A fact not lost on Longo, owner/president of Futures Fins, “I truly believe in Watermans. It is the best sunscreen I have ever used.” Both brands are widely viewed as the best in their respective categories.
The partnership is a strategic move on behalf of Watermans to increase the customer experience. Watermans will be utilizing the experienced sales, marketing and customer service team of Futures Fins to expand their domestic reach.
“[Futures] has a greater distribution channel and the staff to bring a better service component to our customers,” says Brock. Adding, “We are looking forward to working with Futures and taking Watermans to the next level.” Collaborative operations are underway immediately.
Core to the philosophy of both brands is the idealism of manufacturing quality products in the USA. “The fact that Futures has set domestic manufacturing as a goal was a huge factor in our decision making.” Said Watermans Pete Stirling, “What is the point of success if it doesn’t serve the community at large?”
Futures currently manufactures all molded products including boxes and fins in Huntington Beach. Watermans is made in the USA.
