Veteran Action Sports Marketing Leader Joins IVI To Launch Brand

 

Irvine, CA – (February 21, 2012) IVI today announces the appointment of Brian Garofalow as Marketing Director. In Brian's new position, he will supervise the brand's global marketing effort and lead the execution of the combined vision of founders Rob Dyrdek, Pete Fox, and Jerome Mage.

 

Having spent over a decade directing the marketing departments of some of action sports and culture's most influential brands, Brian brings a wealth of knowledge, network, and ability to turn vision into results. Most recently having served as Marketing Director for youth lifestyle brand RVCA, he managed a complex organization through rapid growth across multiple categories including skateboarding, surfing, MMA, arts and fashion. Previously having worked as Global Marketing Director--Skateboarding at DC Shoes, Brian built and oversaw the execution of global processes for the action sports giant's legendary skateboard division. It was at DC that Brian first collaborated with IVI Co-Founder, Rob Dyrdek.
