Executive Edition is a must have
Executive Edition is a must have

Before Shop-Eat-Surf, there were two sites I paid for premium content on. One is Surfline, the other is the Wall Street Journal. One is about all things surf, the other, the best business content site in the world. Shop-eat-surf is the intersection of those two worlds. Shop-Eat-Surf provides everything from coverage of events, people, brands and trends. However, beyond the Executive Edition "wall" is more meaty analysis and interpretation of financial statements, business models and brand philosophies; why certain brands and companies are succeeding, where others aren't. The Executive Edition is a must have read if the business of surf and action sports are on your radar screen.

Press Release:

When eclectic professionals with more than 30 years working in Youth lifestyle and Action Sports markets come together, you get.... PRJCT Action Sports Design Studio.

After almost a year of planning, veteran product designer Jason Kanes and industry attorney & entrepreneur Marco Gonzalez have partnered to launch PRJCT LLC, a novel action sports design studio and small business incubator.

By merging Jason's creativity and engineer's product development and manufacturing mindset with Marco's business consultation and legal representation, PRJCT is poised to offer a truly unique suite of services to a wide range of companies - from the first time startup considering the intricacies of corporate formation and overseas manufacturing, to the established industry mainstay looking to create a new product line or image overhaul. PRJCT's strategic creative and media partners include some of the industry's top independent professionals in the industry.

A full service creative and technical design studio with substantial experience in materials sourcing and production logistics, PRJCT is particularly poised to assist private label brands to enhance existing product offerings and bring new ones to market smoothly and efficiently.

Jason remarks, "We focus our work with design teams, product innovators, merchandisers, and executives to achieve consistent results, on deadline, and within established budgets."

PRJCT's technical design capabilities reach across the Action Sports hard and soft goods spectrum, including core competencies in: Snow (bindings, boots, skis); Technical Accessories (watches, belts, ear phones); Skate (boards, trucks, wheels, shoes); Luggage (travel bags, board bags, backpacks); POP/POS (racks, storage); Apparel (t-shirts and hoodies, technical outerwear, socks, gloves, hats, beanies); and Footwear (open and closed toe, skate, leisure, lifestyle, cup and vulcanized outsoles).

In addition to award-winning design and technological applications, PRJCT team members can also translate new products into consumer graphics, technical manuals, catalogs, advertisements, and other marketing tools.

On the business consulting side, PRJCT members leverage their own experiences starting, advising, and managing various action sports companies to provide services that can be difficult to find elsewhere.

Experienced attorneys are available to assist with: business formation, financing, contractual agreements, trademark/patent registration and enforcement, licensing, commercial leasing, and dispute resolution.

Marco notes, "There isn't another entity that we know of offering such a broad and necessary range of services to surf, skate, and snow companies. In particular, as a one-stop-shop for new companies just getting off the ground, PRJCT can make the difference between success and failure in these difficult times."
