Executive Edition is a must have
Executive Edition is a must have

Before Shop-Eat-Surf, there were two sites I paid for premium content on. One is Surfline, the other is the Wall Street Journal. One is about all things surf, the other, the best business content site in the world. Shop-eat-surf is the intersection of those two worlds. Shop-Eat-Surf provides everything from coverage of events, people, brands and trends. However, beyond the Executive Edition "wall" is more meaty analysis and interpretation of financial statements, business models and brand philosophies; why certain brands and companies are succeeding, where others aren't. The Executive Edition is a must have read if the business of surf and action sports are on your radar screen.

It pertains to my business
It pertains to my business

I’m an avid reader of Shop-Eat-Surf because it’s really the only online newsletter that I have found that is not only industry related, but also because it’s not so “guy-centric.” I find that a lot of the information I read on the site pertains to my business (as a swimwear designer) and keeps me up to date on what other companies and other women in the industry in general are doing which is not only inspiring but also helps me gauge the future direction of my business as well.

I feel privileged to read the Executive Edition because I know I am getting insider industry information before it hits the mainstream media channels. And it’s always good to know what my friends are up to in the industry.

Press Release:

New, Smaller Size Goggle Added to APX Collection

Carlsbad, CA (January 10, 2012) - All the function and quality of the APX condensed into a 20% smaller size frame, Dragon introduces the APXs Goggle into the snow market for those seeking a more universal fit without compromising performance.

Utilizing Dragon's officially patented Infinity Lens Technology ™ to deliver maximum peripheral vision, APXs offers more visibility than any goggle of the same size along with a breakthrough method for changing lenses.

"With a smaller, more universal fit than our original APX Goggle, everyone can enjoy the frameless experience with the APXs," says Mike Tobia, Director of Product at Dragon. "There was such a strong demand for the APX product in the snow market that we had to give our customers more options on sizing."

Tested deep in the San Juan Mountain range at Dragon's APX Research and Development Cabin, the APXs combines technical innovation with feedback from team riders Gigi Ruf, Danny Davis, Luke Mitrani, and TJ Schiller.

We used all this feedback to help construct this lightweight, high quality snow goggle that promises the best peripheral vision and clarity while on the slopes, in the most challenging conditions possible.

"The APXs Goggles are something I will take with me on all my snow adventures," says Gigi Ruf who has a Signature Series Model for the APXs coming out in Fall 2012. "I know I can count on them to work when I am in the backcountry riding and I am looking forward to putting them to good use this season."

Equipped with Dragon's future forward technologies including Super Anti-Fog™ and Polar Tech micro fleece lining for the utmost comfort, APXs also features dual layer face foam and offers 100% UV protection from harmful rays. Perfect for riders looking to push it in the park, APXs is fully helmet compatible due to its low profile, frameless build and minimalist design.

Coupled with our innovative armored venting system that provides durable ventilation and removes moisture away from the top of the frame, APXs is prepared to keep your vision clear in any terrain you can handle.

Available in an array of styles and color ways with multiple lens options, APXs is the perfect solution for those looking to sport the modern look of APX, in a smaller, sleeker package.
