SAN CLEMENTE, Calif. (Dec. 5, 2011) — The 41st annual SURFER Poll Awards will air live online at www.surferpoll.com and on Time Warner Cable television throughout Southern California and Hawaii this Tuesday, Dec. 6, beginning at 7 p.m. HST (9 p.m.PST).
The 2011 awards show, which will honor the world’s favorite 10 men and 5 women surfers, will take place at the Turtle Bay Resort on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii during the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing. Awards will also be presented for top video parts, movie of the year, and many other special awards for those who have made an impact in the world of professional surfing this year and years past.
With an intimate gathering of professional athletes and industry insiders, the annual awards show offers a unique glimpse into the fascinating and often raucous world of surfing and surfing’s elite.
This year offers even more opportunities for fans to get a front row ticket to the exclusive event either online or in front of the television.
