Shop-eat-surf is pleased to welcome Caroline King as the newest member of our team.
Caroline joins us as an Account Executive, responsible primarily for building our online Professional Services Directory.
Caroline is the third new member of our Shop-eat-surf team, along with writer Shelby Stanger and assistant Brittany Roberto. The trio work with Shop-eat-surf Founder, CEO and Editor Tiffany Montgomery and President Andrew Horan.
Caroline, left, has a 15-year history in action sports, working most recently for Burton Snowboards as the Apparel Sales Manager in the U.S. region.
“We're excited to add a sales professional of Caroline's caliber to the Shop-eat-surf sales team,” said Shop-eat-surf President Andrew Horan.
“Caroline has a long and impressive sales background which includes retail, repping and sales management, so she has a great understanding of the business of our industry,” he said.
Caroline has worked for Burton, DC, RVCA, Ride and Globe/Gallaz and has a strong pedigree in surf/skate/snow, coming from the snowy mountains of Utah, where she started to skate and snowboard in 1992. Caroline is now based in Southern California.
"Shop-eat-surf has been my go-to resource for years, when I need to know what's happening in this exciting industry. I love that it always gets the story straight and is so consistent in delivering great news and insights on every side of the business," Caroline said.

Shelby Stanger joined Shop-eat-surf last year as the site's principal freelance writer. She covers all aspects of action sports business news, primarily in the surf, skate and snow segments.
Shelby, left, also writes for Outside, Men's Journal and Women's Adventure magazines and teaches surfing in San Diego and Costa Rica. She was previously the International Marketing Manager for Vans, where she contributed to "Off the Wall: Stories of Sole from Vans Originals."

Brittany Roberto joined Shop-eat-surf this summer as a part-time writer and assistant to the CEO. In addition to covering events for the site, Brittany is responsible for posting items to our Industry Releases and Industry Insight sections.
Brittany, left, graduated in 2010 from UC Irvine with a major in Spanish. She also studied in Buenos Aires. She has experience in retail management and as a swim team coach.
