O'Neill Snow Grows Sales and Marketing Team

with Hiring of Jack Schindler and Jimmy Adams


Schindler will oversee growing sales force in major U.S. markets,

Adams to support global sales and marketing efforts


October 18, 2011 - O'Neill, the original California surf, snow, and youth lifestyle brand, today announced the growth of its O'Neill Snow sales and marketing team, adding Jack Schindler as new national sales manager and Jimmy Adams as sales and marketing coordinator.


In Schindler's new role, he will oversee all U.S. sales teams for O'Neill Snow apparel and accessories, including the brand's newest collection of snow pants, jackets, fleece and beanies. He will also help manage key accounts in markets such as California, Colorado and Utah.


Schindler was most recently the Western Region Sales Manager for C1rca and Axion footwear, based in Southern California. Prior to this position, Schindler helped launch the snow goggle program for Hoven Vision and worked with the Earth Products Company, managing major markets for Planet Earth and Holden Snow outerwear, as well as Adio footwear.


"This is a position that's perfectly suited for my passion in outdoor sports and I'm eager to take O'Neill's snow brand to the next level," said Schindler.


"I'm really looking forward to expanding awareness around the O'Neill Snow collections in the U.S. market, and generating greater exposure and opportunities for us."


In the new sales and marketing position, Jimmy Adams will serve as key support for Schindler's team, as well as overseeing O'Neill Snow marketing programs across the U.S. and Canada.


Originally from Sydney, Adams moved to Montreal following graduation from college and has since worked with major action sports retail companies such as Empire Sports, along with fashion brands including Zoo York and Ecko Unltd.


"With these recent hires, we have landed two experts in the action sports and fashion worlds who will help us spread the word about our full line of snow products across both the U.S. and Canada," said Leonard Marcovitch, President of O'Neill Snow.


"It's an exciting time for the brand as we really look to make our mark on these regions with retailers and consumers."


Schindler will be based at his home in San Diego, Calif., while Adams will work out of O'Neill Canada's offices in Montreal.
