Ryan Divel, formerly VP of Promotions, has left La Jolla Group after his job was eliminated, he said.
A company spokeswoman confirmed his departure.
Ryan emailed me the following comment when I asked him what is next:
"As for now, I’m looking for the right fit. I am an award winning marketeer, but through La Jolla gained valuable executive and sales management experience. The ‘fun’ part of what I used to do,
announcing/MC/personality, dissipated as I climbed up the corporate ladder.
"I’m trying to narrow down exactly which direction I want to head, but am confident the right fit will be there for me to complete the puzzle once I find it."
The spokeswoman said La Jolla is not going through a round of layoffs and is hiring in some areas of the business.
