Dr. Eugenio J. Aleman is responsible for the analysis and forecasting of national, regional, and international economic trends.
His principal focus is on the U.S. economy and interest rates. He also specializes in macroeconomics, economic development, international trade and finance, and Latin American economies, specifically Mexico, Brazil and Argentina.
Dr. Aleman is in charge of the analysis of the U.S. Hispanic market, the border-city economies engaged in trade with Mexico, and the Maquiladora manufacturing sector along the U.S.-Mexican border and its links to the U.S. manufacturing sector.
He has held posts as adjunct professor in Philadelphia, San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Buenos Aires, Argentina. He has also worked with Global Insight, one of the most important economics forecasting and consulting firms in the U.S. Eugenio.J.Aleman@wellsfargo.com
