I’m an avid reader of Shop-Eat-Surf because it’s really the only online newsletter that I have found that is not only industry related, but also because it’s not so “guy-centric.” I find that a lot of the information I read on the site pertains to my business (as a swimwear designer) and keeps me up to date on what other companies and other women in the industry in general are doing which is not only inspiring but also helps me gauge the future direction of my business as well.

I feel privileged to read the Executive Edition because I know I am getting insider industry information before it hits the mainstream media channels. And it’s always good to know what my friends are up to in the industry.

RICHMOND, BC, CANADA - (July 12, 2011) Wick Winder Distribution is pleased to announce that Lan Nguyen has joined the company as CFO/GM.

 

Lan comes to Wick with over a decade of industry experience having worked with Quiksilver Canada Corp., Centre Distribution Ltd. & Supra Distribution Ltd. Having been involved in the initial stages of these companies, Lan brings experience in both the financial & operational side of the business.

 

"This is a great opportunity for us to capitalize on the momentum that both our brands and company are experiencing," says Co-Founder and President Brad Richmond.

 

"We have established ourselves as a full service distribution company with a host of exciting brands and very capable team of staff, adding Lan into the mix will allow us to take things to the next level, it's a very exciting time for Wick Winder Distribution".

 

Indeed the addition of Nguyen to the Wick Winder team couldn't be timed better, the company is set to celebrate 10-years in business this year and is showing no signs of slowing down.
