With so much change in the retail world and the action sports landscape, Surf Expo—our partner since BRA's inception— remains the place to check in and check the pulse of the industry. And with the trade show only a few months away, we'd like to announce two educational series that will take place in Orlando.
The first is our new BRA University series! A four-hour session titled "Converting Online Traffic to Foot Traffic: Bringing Business to Your Door" will teach you best practices to implement social media, video, a virtual storefront, and the optimal website to bring your brick and mortar store to the Web.
Following this info-packed morning you can join us as we hop a shuttle to Surf Expo's Demo Day for an afternoon of discovering new products and networking with other retailers and manufacturers. BRA University is in session Wednesday, September 7, from 9am-1pm. Cost is only $50 for BRA members and $75 for non-members.
We're continuing the Online theme for our Surf Expo seminar sessions, which take place at 11:30 and 2:30 daily at "The Stage" on the show floor. Learn how to shoot and edit your product photos, how to implement video, how to interact with your community through a social community and much more.
