Carlsbad, CA — Adam Cozens, currently the head of TransWorld SNOWboarding, is increasing his publishing duties with the addition of TransWorld Business, the company’s trade publication covering action-sports news and information.
As publisher of the world’s largest and most respected snowboarding magazine, he has overseen the brand’s extension and growth across new and traditional media platforms. Most recently culminating with the successful launch of TWSnow+, the first action-sports title available for Apple’s iPad.
Cozens is looking to mirror the brand’s success for his new title: “The foundation of TransWorld Business is solid, and the brand’s momentum continues to build with the recent redesign and our expansion into the motocross, BMX, and wakeboarding industries.” TransWorld Business recently added coverage of those three actions sports to the title’s regular lineup of skate, surf, and snowboarding information, beginning with the March 2011 issue.
Cozens has been with TransWorld since 2004. He’s based in TransWorld’s main office in Carlsbad, California.
Since 1983, TransWorld has been the world’s leading action-sports media company, serving more than 27 million passionate action-sports enthusiasts annually via websites, magazines, videos, and events. TransWorld is a division of Bonnier Corp. (bonniercorp.com), one of the largest consumer-publishing groups in America through 50 special-interest magazines and related multimedia projects and events.
TransWorld Business is a B2B trade publication in the action sports world and for over fifteen years continues to remain the number-one source for action-sports business news and information. It provides key resources and tools to thousands of retailers and manufacturers within the industry through its print, digital and event assets. Found online at transworldbusiness.com.
