Los Angeles, CA -- April, 2011 – Ron Friedman has been hired as the Group Chief Operations Officer for Blank Generation. Ron will oversee the day to day operations of Blank Generation and it’s house brands; Iron Fist Clothing, Dead Boy Footwear, and Abbey Dawn.
Ron has been tasked to oversee the development, implementation and management of all BG Brands Teams, procedures and operations, and develop an Athletic Footwear Program, including design, development, production and sourcing.
He will work with key management figures of the various divisions to provide strategic long range guidance and opportunities. He will report directly to Travis Anderson CEO of Blank Generation.
Prior to joining Blank Generation, Friedman had been serving as Director of Footwear Development, for DC Shoes. In this role, Friedman was instrumental in Management of the growth of DC’s Footwear Program and Teams.

Before joining DC in 2003, Friedman operated an apparel manufacturing company in San Diego, CA, where he received SoCal Apparel Manufacturer of the Year Award among other accolades. During that time Friedman produced products for; DC Shoes, Vans, Osiris, Sony Music, Arista Records, MLB and the San Diego Chargers.
