Before Shop-Eat-Surf, there were two sites I paid for premium content on. One is Surfline, the other is the Wall Street Journal. One is about all things surf, the other, the best business content site in the world. Shop-eat-surf is the intersection of those two worlds. Shop-Eat-Surf provides everything from coverage of events, people, brands and trends. However, beyond the Executive Edition "wall" is more meaty analysis and interpretation of financial statements, business models and brand philosophies; why certain brands and companies are succeeding, where others aren't. The top brand at PacSun in 2010

The Fox brand accounted for 10% of PacSun’s net sales in 2010, more sales than any other brand, according to PacSun’s annual report filed last week.

 

PacSun had net sales of $930 million in 2010.

 

No other brand branded vendor accounted for more than 7% of sales.

 

In 2009, no vendor accounted for more than 10% of net sales.

 

In 2008, Billabong and Element together accounted for 11% of net sales, while Quiksilver, DC and Roxy accounted for 10%.
