Press Release:
etnies Launches First Store in Europe
etnies is pleased to announce that its first retail store launched last week
The first etnies store launched in Kingston Upon Thames, near London last Thursday. Partnering with a key etnies retailer, Natterjacks, the new store showcases the biggest collection of etnies footwear and clothing in Europe!
“After building up experience with etnies corners we are now entering the next stage with an etnies only store. We are really proud to open the first store in London with a great retail partner. It is our aim to open more stores with retail partners across key cities in Europe” said Joost Grootswagers, European Sales Director, Sole Technology.
“The opening of our first etnies store is a huge step for us in Europe as it gives us the platform to present the great marketing stories we have for etnies footwear and apparel. Having the opportunity to present the brand as it’s really intended to be experienced by the consumer is exciting.
"Working with a key expert in retail like Andy from Natterjacks will also give us the tools to improve our stores so we can roll them out successfully across Europe with other key retail partners. This is a very exciting time for etnies and Sole Technology and we look forward to the next stages of our expansion program.”
James Appleby, European Marketing Director, Sole Technology Store owner Andy Beagley, and Store Manager Manni Roscher, were extremely pleased with the look and feel of the store and impressed with the number of sales taken on the opening day.
etnies European skate team riders Joe Gavin and Barney Page came along for the launch and free etnies goody bags were given out with every purchase made on the day.
