We represent our global community as a united force by listening, understanding and addressing the needs of skateboarders and the industry. IASC members are passionate about skateboarding, protecting its integrity and pushing it forward globally.

The Surfing Heritage and Culture Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving, presenting and promoting surfing’s heritage for the appreciation and education of current and future generations; and to achieving our goal of surfing being more accurately understood, represented and enjoyed.

Last week, Volcom held its annual Volcom Bowl Shop Battle with 36 of its favorite retailers from Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego counties.

There was a prize for best costume so all the stores stepped up their games and came in hot, according to Floris Gierman, Volcom’s Sr. Director of Retail Marketing.

The Spyder Beach Bums and Laguna Surf & Sport Mexicans both won $100 as runner ups for best costumes, and the San Pedro Surf & Sport Ravers danced away with $300 cash for best costume – and all the cash went straight to the bar for more beer.

Results

1st Place – Katin - 1602 points

2nd Place – Pharmacy - 1428 points

3rd Place – Identity - 1234 points
