Jim Calhoun, the former President of the Dockers brand owned by Levi Strauss & Co., is the new CEO of Hurley, the company announced this afternoon.

Calhoun replaces Roger Wyett, who was promoted to President of Nike Inc. Affiliates. Calhoun will report to Roger.

 

In addition to Levi's, where he has worked since 2008, Calhoun spent nine years at The Walt Disney company and before that, worked at Nike.

Nike Names Jim Calhoun New CEO of Hurley

 

BEAVERTON, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- NIKE, Inc. (NYSE:NKE - News) today announced that Jim Calhoun is joining the company as the VP & CEO of Hurley reporting to NIKE, Inc. President of Affiliates Roger Wyett.

 

Calhoun, 43, joins Nike from Levi Strauss & Company, where he had worked since 2008 as Executive Vice President & President of the Dockers Brand. Before joining Levis Strauss, Calhoun was with The Walt Disney company for more than nine years in a variety of senior roles, most recently as Executive Vice President & General Manager for Disney Consumer Products for North and Latin America. Prior to The Walt Disney Company, Calhoun worked with Nike where he served in a leadership role driving growth for Nike’s basketball business.

“Jim’s strong experience in consumer products and global brand management and his talent as a merchant will be a great asset to Hurley as we continue to connect with consumers and grow the brand globally,” said Roger Wyett, President of the NIKE, Inc. Calhoun has an MBA from the University of Southern California and a B.A. from the University of Connecticut.
