Here are some more details about Zumiez’s strong results in March.

 

The company reported an 8.9% increase in same sale stores sales. That increase came despite a few challenges including the shift in Easter to late April and a tough comparison. Last March, same stores sales increased 13.2%.

 

Same store sales by week

 

1. +15.7%

2. +12.8%

3. +13.4%

4. +13.9%

5. -7.8%

 

Positive categories: footwear, accessories, men’s, junior’s.

 

Negative categories: hardgoods, boys.

 

Quarter-to-date same store sales: up 10.6%.

 

Total stores: 404.
