Rip Curl Unveils Signature Alana Blanchard Swim Collaboration - Alana's Closet

 

Costa Mesa, CA (March 14, 2011): Rip Curl x Alana Blanchard - a collaboration centered around the ideal balance between function and fashion.

 

From Rip Curl's Spring 2011 BIKINI line, introducing Alana's Closet, a limited swim collection showcasing the collaborative efforts of Alana's distinct taste and the Rip Curl girls design team.

 

Alana is currently a member of the elite ASP Women's World Tour, and finding a swim piece to perform in the water ranks equally with how it looks. With the objective clearly laid out, Alana worked closely with the team at Rip Curl to produce a swim piece that reflected the best of both worlds.

 

"I'm really excited about my new Bikini collection," stated Alana. "I absolutely love how it turned out- super cute and they're great to surf in."

 

Rip Curl's Global Chairman of Girls' Surfwear, Mary Miller, shared Alana's enthusiasm in the partnership. "Alana is the perfect ambassador to reflect the concept behind this product. Her beauty and natural talent put this collection on the stage it deserves. And, we're just getting started..."
